Why would I need a Wedding Planner?

Hiring a wedding planner is a distinctive luxury tailored for those who find the wedding planning process overwhelming or have demanding schedules. If the prospect of managing all the details feels stressful, a wedding planner becomes a valuable investment. With their expertise and extensive vendor connections, they ensure your unique vision seamlessly transforms into reality. By alleviating stress, managing intricate details, and providing dedicated support, a wedding planner allows you to fully savor your special day. It's a personalized and memorable experience crafted with precision and care.

Your mind might be racing with a million ideas, and organizing them can feel daunting. That's where I come in, and I'm damn good at it. Bombard me with your thoughts and ideas, and I'll expertly organize them into a cohesive plan that makes sense and brings your vision to life.

Moreover, TREAT YOURSELF to this luxury. You deserve to enjoy your engagement and feel like royalty every step of planning your big day without feeling overwhelmed. Let a wedding planner take the reins, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable journey toward your dream wedding.

What's a realistic wedding budget?

There is no one-size-fits-all answer to this question. Every couple's wedding/vision/financial boundaries are different. However, step 1 for any couple is to have an open and meaningful conversation with each other about your budget. Discuss what you both can comfortably afford and establish your financial boundaries.

I always advise my couples to make a list of their top 3 priorities for their wedding day—be it the dream venue, timeless photos, or exquisite flowers. Once those have been identified, allocate your funds accordingly, ensuring those cherished elements receive the attention and funds they deserve. The remaining budget can then be thoughtfully distributed across other essential wedding needs.

What is the difference between a Wedding Planner & a Wedding Coordinator/Event Manager?

A wedding planner is responsible for managing all aspects of the wedding planning process, from start to finish. This includes everything from selecting a venue and managing vendors, to creating a wedding day timeline and managing the budget. A wedding planner is typically involved in every step of the planning process, and is responsible for ensuring that every aspect of the wedding is executed flawlessly.

On the other hand, a wedding coordinator/event manager is responsible for managing the logistics of the wedding day itself. This includes coordinating with vendors, setting up decorations, managing the wedding party and ensuring that everything runs smoothly on the day of the wedding. While a wedding coordinator may be involved in the planning process to some extent, their primary focus is on managing the wedding day itself.

I have a Venue Coordinator. Do I still need a Wedding Coordinator/Event Manager?

While a venue coordinator can be a valuable resource, they are primarily focused on managing the venue’s facilities and operations; they're loyalty is to the venue. A wedding coordinator/event manager, on the other hand, can help you with everything from creating a wedding timeline and managing vendors to designing the overall look and feel of your wedding; our loyalty is to the couple.

The Wedding Coordinator/Event Manager just works the day of the wedding, correct?

While some may perceive the role of a WC/EM as a one-day job, it is important to clarify that their involvement extends far beyond the wedding day itself. A WC/EM also known as a ‘day-of coordinator,’ is a crucial partner in ensuring a flawless wedding experience. Their expertise begins well in advance of the big day, typically around the 8/10-week mark, when they start working closely with couples to ensure every detail is covered and handled. From vendor coordination and timeline creation to offering guidance and resolving potential issues, the WC/EM is there to provide comprehensive support throughout the entire wedding planning process. On the day of the wedding, they seamlessly orchestrate all the logistics, allowing couples to relax and truly enjoy their special day.

“The perfect person for your wedding day!

Ashley was brought in to work with us when there were changes with our previous coordinator and she got up to speed very quickly and reassured us of her abilities. As our wedding day approached, Ashley kept track of all the finishing details, helped us make important decisions along the way, and helped us find hair makeup vendors at the last minute. Our wedding day went very smoothly, Ashley looked after us (we got to eat dinner, have time to ourselves, and join cocktail hour) and all the guests said it was a beautiful and well-planned wedding! We couldn't recommend Ashley's wedding coordinator services more highly!”
